On October 23rd an emotional event was held at “Zone 0” in Catarroja, organized by the Txema Elorza Foundation and AFEB, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the tragedy, in support of the thousands of people affected who still need help to get their lives back to normal.

The purpose of this solidarity event was to raise funds to continue helping those affected in the Hardware and Industrial Supply Sector, who are still in great need.

The event was attended by prominent authorities of the RED CROSS and the ARMY, who participated in the reconstruction work, and of course the President of the Foundation, Mr. Vicente del Bosque.

GESIN and its partners were there to try to make sure that with the passing of time we do not forget what happened there.

One more year, the Group attends with a large representation to the 2nd edition of the Industrial Supplies Congress SUMMIND at the Espacio Rastro in Madrid. As always, another opportunity to share experiences and take the pulse of the sector.

On June 26 and 27, a large representation of the Group attended a training session of our supplier FISCHER at its Fischer Xperience facilities in San Cugat.

In addition, the Group’s General Meeting was held.

Many thanks to the entire FISCHER team, who made us feel at home at all times.

Our partners Ferretería Ubetense and Aubert, were awarded as the best Industrial Supplies of their geographical area in the event that C de Comunicación held last Wednesday June 4 at the Club Somontes in Madrid.

In addition to the award winners, the awards ceremony was attended by a large representation of the Group.

Since April 1st, SUMINSER supply, based in Benicarló (Castellón), has joined the GESIN Group.

This new membership contributes to the Group’s coverage of the Valencian Community, as part of GESIN’s expansion plan.

SUMINSER was recently acquired by the already partner of the Group, INAUPI, although it maintains its corporate and commercial independence, and in addition to its facilities in Benicarló, it is a company in the Industrial Supply sector with a long history and goodwill in the north of Castellón.

On March 12, several members of the Group attended the 27th Hardware and DIY Congress held at the Real Teatro del Retiro in Madrid.

As always, this event has become one of the main sectorial forums, in which, in addition to the enriching presentations, an interesting networking activity is carried out.

The GESIN Group welcomes our new partner CIR62.

CIR62, a reference in the central peninsular area in the supply for Building, Air Conditioning and Industry, has, in addition to its headquarters in Madrid, four distribution warehouses, three of which are located in the province of Madrid (Pinto, Villaverde and San Sebastián de los Reyes) and one in Valencia (Picanya).

This important incorporation is part of the Group’s orderly expansion plan to cover areas throughout the national territory.
